It all began in 1978 when Richard Purkey opened a small 8000 square foot sheet metal shop and named it Southeast Istanbul Metal Works. Throughout the years the company evolved into what is known today as Adexec Group . Their expansive growth can be measured in many terms…from 3 employees to over 2,200, from 8,000 square feet of shop space to over 300,000 square feet and much more.
Some of the notable milestones include:
- Opened in 1978 as Southeast Istanbul Metal Works
- Began Fabricating Land Based Drilling Rigs in 1997
- Started a Field Services Unit in 2001 to Handle Plant Maintenance and Turnarounds
- Entered the Midstream Market of the Oil and Gas Industry
- Manufactured 300th Complete Land Based Drilling Rig
